Lassithi Plateau Day Trip

On our Lassithi Plateau Day Trip, we'll take you to some of the most beautiful parts of Crete. The Monastery of Kera Kardiotissa, Psychro, and the village of Tzermiado await!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll convene at our meeting point in Heraklion and set off on our day trip to the Lassithi Plateau.

Our first stop will be the Kera Kardiotissa Monastery, which sustained significant damage during the Cretan uprising. Here, we'll enjoy an hour-long guided tour and discuss the monastery's architecture and iconography.

As we drive to the next stop on our day trip, we'll look out at views of Crete's iconic windmills and natural scenery.

We'll then arrive at the village of Psychro, a famous pottery hub. We will visit a workshop and observe craftsmen making beautiful pots.

The final stop will be in Tzermiado, the capital of the Lassithi Plateau, where you'll have 1 hour of free time for lunch at one of its restaurants.

It will then be time to return to Heraklion, where we'll arrive after a total of 8 hours.
