Lassithi Plateau Day Trip

On our Lassithi Plateau Day Trip, we'll explore some of the most beautiful areas of Crete, including the Monastery of Kera Kardiotissa, Psychro, and Tzermiado.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Heraklion and begin our trip to the Lassithi Plateau. Our first stop will be the Kera Kardiotissa Monastery, where we will have a guided tour lasting one hour. The monastery, significant for its architecture and iconography, attracts many pilgrims. We will then enjoy scenic views of Crete's renowned windmills during our drive.

Next, we will arrive at Psychro, a notable pottery center with various workshops where we will observe craftsmen at work. The final stop will be Tzermiado, the capital of the Lassithi Plateau, where you will have one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After this, we will return to Heraklion, completing the trip in approximately eight hours.
