A Historical Museum in Tennessee

Welcome to Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, one of the most important museums in Tennessee. Located on the outskirts of Nashville, this mansion of over 4305 square feet was the property of Andrew Jackson. This site is ideal for learning about the state's history and the life of this politician.

Andrew Jackson lived and died in this mansion. The English audio guide included in your tour allows you to explore the Hermitage and its complex, which consists of cabins, gardens, and the main residence.

The cabin of Andrew Jackson's Hermitage provides insight into the lives of the President and First Lady from 1804 to 1821, during their time in these wooden homes.

In the east area of the house, you can explore the Hermitage's large garden, designed in the style of English gardens. While strolling through its trails, you will admire various architectural and decorative elements from the 19th century.

Andrew Jackson's Hermitage opens every day from 9 am to 6 pm. The final admission time is at 5 pm.
