El Colorado Beach Excursion

At the designated time in the morning, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Hermosillo and travel to El Colorado Beach, a tranquil oasis on the Gulf of California. The drive will take about an hour and a half.

Upon arrival, you will see the reddish landscape that gives it its name. First, we'll embark on a two-hour hike to the summit of Cerro Colorado to view the area's picturesque caves and enjoy panoramic views.

Following the hike, you can either enjoy free time or board a boat for an hour-long cruise across the Sea of Cortez, taking in the crystal clear waters of the Sonoran coast. Look out for pelicans, schools of fish, and possibly a sea lion colony.

Afterward, you will have about 6 hours of free time to relax on the beach and dine at a local restaurant. If desired, you can also go kayaking to explore the area at your own pace as the sun sets.

Finally, we will return to Hermosillo, arriving at your hotel approximately 12 hours after the start of the excursion.
