El Colorado Beach Excursion

At the designated time on the morning of the excursion, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Hermosillo and travel to El Colorado Beach, a tranquil oasis on the Gulf of California. The drive will take about an hour and a half.

Once we arrive, you will quickly understand the origin of its name, showcasing landscapes with a particular reddish tone. First, we will go on a two-hour hike to the top of the famous Cerro Colorado to see the area's picturesque caves and enjoy views of the landscape from above.

After our hike, you can either enjoy some free time or board a boat for an hour-long cruise across the Sea of Cortez, enjoying the clear waters of this location on the Sonoran coast. During the ride, watch for pelicans and schools of fish, and we might see a sea lion colony.

You will have about 6 hours of free time to enjoy the beach and lunch at a local restaurant. If you wish, you can go kayaking to explore the surrounding area at your own pace as we enjoy the sunset.

Finally, we will return to Hermosillo, arriving at your hotel 12 hours after departure.
