On this tour of the villages in the Yaqui Valley, we'll explore traditional and scenic places in Sonora.

Yaqui Valley Villages Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Hermosillo and start the tour of the Ruta del Novillo.

First, we'll visit Mazatán, a town founded by the Spanish in the 17th century, known for its traditional fresh cheese. We'll enjoy these treats and head to Nidopa Ranch, where Bacanora, a traditional drink made from agave leaves, is produced.

The tour continues to Mátape to visit the Musician's Museum and learn about the Othón brothers' orchestra and other local musical groups.

Next, we will visit the outskirts of San Pedro de la Cueva to see the Dry Waterfall, an unusual geological formation. We will then go to a local wafer factory to understand its significance.

After an hour of free time for lunch, we'll proceed to Batuc for panoramic views. Our final stop will be in Ures, where we will visit Zaragoza Plaza and a ham factory.

Finally, we will return to Hermosillo, arriving at your hotel about 11 hours later.
