Yaqui Valley Villages Tour
We will begin our adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Hermosillo at the scheduled time, setting the stage for an engaging exploration along the Ruta del Novillo.
Our first destination will be Mazatán, a quaint town established by Spanish settlers in the 17th century, renowned for its artisanal fresh cheese. After savoring these delightful treats, we will proceed to Nidopa Ranch, where the traditional spirit of Bacanora is produced. This regional beverage, crafted from agave leaves sourced from northern tribes, is a true symbol of Sonora.
Next, we’ll travel to Mátape, where a visit to the Musician's Museum awaits us. Here, you will learn about the history of the famous Othón brothers' orchestra and other notable local musical ensembles.
Continuing our journey, we will head towards the outskirts of San Pedro de la Cueva, stopping at the intriguing Dry Waterfall, a remarkable geological wonder. Following this, we will visit a local wafer factory to discover its significance in the area.
After enjoying an hour of leisure time for lunch, we will venture to Batuc, known for its spectacular panoramic vistas. Our itinerary includes a stop in Ures, where we will visit Zaragoza Plaza and a ham factory.
Finally, we will make our way back to Hermosillo, with an expected arrival time at your hotel approximately 11 hours after our departure.
