San Carlos Day Trip

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Hermosillo and head to San Carlos. This location features one of the most spectacular sea views globally.

We will arrive at a pearl farm on the Sea of Cortez, where we will learn about the pearl production process in Sonora.

In San Carlos, we will visit the Estero del Soldado wetland, a protected area that serves as a refuge for various wildlife. There, we will learn about local species and enjoy a 1-hour kayak tour of the lagoon to see its mangroves and birds.

Next, we will head to the San Carlos viewpoint for panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez and Mount Tetakawi.

You will have free time to swim at the beach of Piedras Pintas or relax with a picnic.

We will then board a yacht to sail along the San Carlos coastline and admire the local landscapes.

Finally, we will return to Hermosillo, arriving at the hotel 10 hours after pickup.
