San Carlos Day Excursion

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Hermosillo and embark towards San Carlos, the most treasured tourist destination in the region. Prepare to be captivated by one of the world's most amazing ocean vistas!

Our first stop will be a pearl farm located on the Sea of Cortez, where you'll gain insights into the significance of this beautiful gem in Sonora and discover the intricate process of oyster cultivation aimed at producing exquisite pearls.

Upon reaching San Carlos, we will explore the Estero del Soldado wetland, a protected natural sanctuary that shelters diverse species, including coyotes, white-tailed deer, wild boars, and desert foxes. Here, you will uncover fascinating information about the local fauna while enjoying a one-hour kayaking adventure through the lagoon, allowing you to observe its lush mangroves and various bird species.

Next, we will ascend to the San Carlos viewpoint, renowned for holding one of the most breathtaking ocean scenes globally, as noted by National Geographic. This viewpoint presents an ideal opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the Sea of Cortez and marvel at one of the Gulf of California's most extraordinary landmarks: Mount Tetakawi.

After soaking in the spectacular scenery, you will have some free time to relax and swim at the Piedras Pintas beach. If you have a picnic with you, this is the perfect moment to recharge.

We will then board a yacht to cruise along the stunning San Carlos coastline, offering striking views of the town's skyline alongside the majestic Sonoran desert landscapes.
