San Carlos Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hermosillo and head to San Carlos, the state's most prized tourist jewel with spectacular sea views.

We'll arrive at a pearl farm on the Sea of Cortez, where we'll learn about the importance of this jewel in Sonora and the processing of oysters to produce pearls.

Once in San Carlos, we'll visit the Estero del Soldado wetland, a protected area that serves as a refuge for species such as the coyote and desert fox. Here, you'll learn facts about native species and enjoy a 1-hour kayak tour of the lagoon to see mangroves and birds.

Next, we'll visit the San Carlos viewpoint, noted for its ocean views by National Geographic. You can take photos of the Sea of Cortez and admire Mount Tetakawi.

Afterward, you'll have free time at the beach of Piedras Pintas to relax or enjoy a picnic.

We'll then board a yacht to sail along the San Carlos coastline and view the town's skyline and desert landscapes.

Finally, we'll return to Hermosillo, arriving at your hotel 10 hours after pickup.
