Embark on a scenic bike tour through the mountains of Castilla y León and Extremadura, following the historic Vía Verde de la Plata, which traces an ancient railway route.

Tour Highlights

We will meet at the designated time on Avenida de la Constitución in Hervás, located in the Ambroz Valley in Cáceres.

Departing for the route's starting point in the upper part of Béjar, Salamanca, we will gather all necessary equipment and provide instructions for the bike tour along the Vía Verde de la Plata.

We will navigate the landscapes of the Sierra de Béjar mountains, moving through lush forests aligned with a 19th-century railway path that once connected Plasencia and Astorga by train.

During the 3-hour ride, we will enjoy the scenery of the Ambroz Valley, passing notable towns like Béjar and Baños de Montemayor.

Finally, we will return to Hervás, where bikes will be returned and farewells exchanged.
