Vía Verde de la Plata Bike Tour

Embark on a scenic bike tour through the mountains of Castilla y León and Extremadura, following the historic Vía Verde de la Plata, once the path of an ancient railway!

Tour Highlights

We'll meet at Avenida de la Constitución in Hervás, in the Ambroz Valley, Cáceres. After gathering all necessary equipment in Béjar, Salamanca, we will provide instructions for the bike tour along the Vía Verde de la Plata.

We will navigate through Sierra de Béjar mountains, traversing lush forests. This route follows a 19th-century railway path, which connected Plasencia and Astorga by train.

For 3 hours, we will pedal through the scenery of the Ambroz Valley, passing by notable towns like Béjar and Baños de Montemayor.

We will return to the starting point in Hervás, where we will return the bikes and conclude the tour.

Bike Options

When booking, choose between a mountain bike or an electric bike. For families, tricycle-style bikes are available, which can accommodate one or two small children.
