Day 1: Theory & Practice in Controlled Waters

Your adventure begins with a pickup at 8:30 am from your hotel in Punta Cana, followed by a journey to the diving center. Here, you will engage in some fundamental theory related to diving techniques. Topics will cover the assembly of equipment, underwater navigation, oxygen tank management, clearing your mask, along with crucial underwater communication tips.

After the theoretical lessons, we will guide you to a controlled water environment where you can apply your newfound knowledge and gain confidence with the diving gear.

Days 2 & 3: Adventure in Open Waters

During the following two days, you will embark on a total of four open water dives. Are you prepared to discover the wonders of the Caribbean seabed? In this stunning setting, you'll apply your diving techniques while navigating freely in your wetsuit.

The vibrant seabed of Punta Cana awaits, where you’ll encounter brilliantly colored starfish, hawksbill sea turtles, seahorses, and schools of tropical fish. Plus, you'll swim alongside the magnificent coral reefs that dot the area! Upon completing the course, you’ll be awarded a PADI Open Water certificate, the most recognized certification in the world of scuba diving.

Course Duration

The entire course spans three days with approximately five and a half hours of instruction each day. Should you wish to prolong your experience, there is an option to extend to four days with four hours of lessons daily.

Vital Information

Be advised that after your final dive, it is recommended to wait at least 24 hours before flying or ascending to high-altitude locations.
