PADI Open Water Diving Course

Day 1: Theory & practice in confined waters

We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel in Punta Cana and take you to the diving center, where we'll start with basic theory on diving techniques, assembly of equipment, underwater navigation, oxygen tank use, mask clearing, and underwater communication tips. After this, we'll practice in a confined water area to gain comfort with the equipment.

Days 2 & 3: Open water dives

Over the next two days, we'll conduct a total of four open water dives. This will allow you to explore the Caribbean seabed while testing your skills in a real diving environment. We will look for starfish, hawksbill sea turtles, seahorses, tropical fish, and large coral reefs. At the end of the course, you will receive a PADI Open Water certificate.

The course lasts three days with five and a half hours of lessons daily. An extended option is available for four days with four hours of lessons each day.
