Saona Island Excursion: What to Expect

At the scheduled time, pickup from your hotel will commence the tour. A brief stop will allow you to stretch your legs or enjoy a quick coffee. Following this break, we will proceed to Bayahibe to board a catamaran to Saona Island within Cotubanamá National Park.

During the cruise, traditional music will provide entertainment, and an open bar with water, soft drinks, and Dominican rum will enhance the experience. Upon arrival at Saona Island, you will have free time to swim, relax on the beach, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. A buffet lunch will be available, featuring fresh fish, meat, salads, rice, vegetables, pasta, tropical fruits, and beverages.

The return journey will feature scenic views around the island, including a stop in natural sea pools for swimming. Expect to see sea stars and fish. An open bar will be available on board. The tour concludes with a roughly 2-hour return journey to your hotel, with an overall duration of 9 to 12 hours.
