Whale Watching in Samaná + El Limón Waterfall

See the majestic humpback whales as they swim by your side in the sanctuary of Samaná Bay. We’ll also visit the famous waterfall El Limón and go horseback riding!

During the booking process, you can choose from the following tour options:

Whale Watching + Bacardi Island

We will pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and head to the Miches pier. After a break to stretch, we will continue to the pier. Once there, we will board a catamaran for our search for humpback whales in Samaná Bay.

We will learn about humpback whale behavior in their sanctuary area. They can dive up to 200 meters. Watch for them as they surface performing spins and courtship songs.

The tour concludes at Bacardi Island, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch. After lunch, we will return to the Miches dock, and then back to your hotel in Punta Cana, ending this 8.5-hour activity.

Whale Watching + El Limon Waterfall + Bacardi Island

This option includes the same humpback whale watching in Samaná as above.

After two and a half hours, we will return to the mainland and disembark at Santa Barbara pier. A 4x4 will take us to El Limón village to meet the local inhabitants.

We will then go horseback riding to see the El Limón waterfall, a 50-meter-high waterfall with turquoise waters. You can swim for a refreshing dip if desired.

Afterward, we will return to Santa Bárbara for a buffet lunch of fish, rice, and beans. We will then board a catamaran to Bacardi Island for relaxation with cocktails.

We will conclude by returning to Punta Cana and dropping you off at your hotel after a total of 11 hours.
