Learn all about one of the most important locations of World War II when you take this guided tour of Hiroshima. You'll discover how this Japanese city was radically reborn after the atomic bombing and why today it's a symbol of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Guided Tour of Hiroshima

At 10 am, we'll meet up next to Nishi Kamiyacho Station to find out how World War II came to an end in Japan on this guided tour of Hiroshima.

First, we'll head towards the Hiroshima Peace Museum, where we'll relive some of the most tragic moments of modern history, focusing on the atomic bombing of August 1945 and the recovery of its people.

After the museum, we'll visit the Orizuru Tower, where the observation deck offers views of Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park, as well as the castle and the island of Miyajima.

We will then pause for lunch, which includes a dish and a drink. Following lunch, we'll visit the Genbaku Dome, known as the Hiroshima Peace Monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its historical value. Our guide will provide insights about it.

Finally, we will conclude the guided tour by returning to the original starting point at 2:30 pm after a morning full of history and reflection.
