Hiroshima Castle and Itsukushima Shrine are just a few iconic landmarks you'll visit during this captivating tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima.

Description

Meet us at Hiroshima Station to begin our bus journey through Hiroshima and Miyajima. You'll see a modern reconstruction of Hiroshima Castle, originally destroyed by the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945.

Our first stop is the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, where we will pause for a half-hour tour to explore the memorial park and its exhibitions dedicated to the victims of World War II, including the Genbaku Dome.

Afterward, enjoy a traditional lunch featuring okonomiyaki, a typical Japanese cake.

Post-lunch, we'll head to Miyajimaguchi Pier to board a ferry to Miyajima Island. Here, you'll explore significant sites like Itsukushima Shrine, the Great Torii Gate, the Goju-no-to Pagoda, and the Toyokuni Temple.

You will have an hour of free time along Omotesando Street to explore further attractions in Miyajima.

As we conclude our tour, we'll return to the pier to catch the ferry back to Hiroshima, where a bus will take you to the main station.

Important

If the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is closed, we will take you to visit the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims instead.
