Learn all about one of the most important locations of World War II with this guided tour of Hiroshima. Discover how this Japanese city was reborn after the atomic bombing and its significance today as a symbol of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet next to Nishi Kamiyacho Station to explore how World War II ended in Japan.

The tour begins at the Hiroshima Peace Museum, where we will learn about the tragedies of the atomic bombing of August 1945 and the resilience of the local population following the disaster.

After the museum, we will visit the Orizuru Tower for panoramic views of Hiroshima and the Peace Memorial Park, as well as the castle and the beautiful island of Miyajima.

We will take a break for lunch, including a dish and a drink. After lunch, we will visit the Genbaku Dome, recognized as the Hiroshima Peace Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide will provide insights about its historical significance.

The guided tour will conclude after 4.5 hours of history and reflection with a return to the starting point.
