After soaking in the incredible views atop Mount Wellington, we will continue our journey towards Richmond to delve into its rich historical significance. Here lies the Richmond Bridge, notable for being the oldest stone bridge in Australia, constructed by convicts. The area is also home to significant structures like St John's Church, showcasing the architectural heritage of the time.
Following our exploration, enjoy an hour of free time to wander Richmond at your leisure—whether that means shopping, dining in one of its charming cafes, or simply taking in the local ambiance. The choice is entirely yours!
Next, we will journey to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, where you will gain insight into Tasmania's distinctive wildlife. Participate in a guided tour that allows you to observe the renowned Tasmanian devils up close. You’ll have the opportunity to encounter other native creatures, including wombats, quolls, possums, wallabies, koalas, and more.
