Discover Tasmania's history and wildlife on this day trip to Richmond and the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary from Hobart!

Tour Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel and then head to the top of Mount Wellington for a view of the city. Along the way, we'll see Salamanca Place and Battery Point, two iconic buildings in Hobart.

After enjoying the views from Mount Wellington, we'll go to Richmond to learn about its history, including the Richmond Bridge, Australia's oldest stone bridge built by prisoners, and other structures like St John's Church.

You will have an hour of free time to explore Richmond, shop, or have lunch.

Next, we'll proceed to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to learn about Tasmania's unique wildlife. You'll enjoy a guided tour to get close to the famous Tasmanian devils and see other local species such as wombats, quolls, possums, wallabies, koalas, and more. You will have the opportunity to feed them.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Hobart, concluding this 5.5-hour day trip.
