Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head to the scenic Derwent Valley, where views of local wildlife and the Derwent River await.
On the way, we’ll pass through New Norfolk and visit a historic salmon hatchery to learn about Tasmania’s fishing traditions, accompanied by a warm cup of tea before proceeding to Mount Field National Park.
Upon arrival, we’ll explore the park through walking trails and minibus rides. Discover towering eucalyptus trees, myrtles, and ferns, including species over 400 years old.
A highlight is Russell Falls, Tasmania’s most photographed waterfall, where you’ll have an hour of free time for lunch.
Afterward, we’ll begin our return journey to Hobart, crossing the Bowen Bridge for a final view of the Derwent River.
After six and a half to seven hours, we’ll conclude the tour by dropping you off at your hotel.
