Port Arthur and Richmond Day Trip

At the indicated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hobart. We’ll board a comfortable minibus and journey past Government House and the Tasman Bridge over the Derwent River, heading into the Coal River Valley. In this region, we'll explore local wine country and visit the historic Richmond Bridge.

Next, we’ll proceed towards the Tasman Peninsula, surrounded by wildlife and coastal landscapes. We’ll go through the cliffs of Doo Town and arrive at Tasman National Park in Pristine Pirates Bay, featuring the dramatic coastline.

We'll head to Port Arthur for a guided tour of this historic site. You can explore with an audio guide for five hours, visiting the Interpretation Center, Penitentiary, Commandant's House, Harbor Church, and Port Church.

Afterwards, we’ll cruise through Carnarvon Bay to the mysterious Island of the Dead, sharing its history as a convict burial site.

Following the boat tour, enjoy free time for lunch. We suggest visiting Tasmania’s famous Chocolate Foundry for a sweet treat. Finally, we’ll return to your hotel in Hobart, arriving approximately 9 hours after the tour begins.
