Tasman Island Boat Trip
We will meet at Hobart Harbour and drive for 1 hour to Port Arthur. Upon arrival, we will have tea before boarding the boat for our trip around Tasman Island.
The tour will begin as we cruise along the shores of the Tasman National Park, skirting the isthmus of Eaglehawk Neck. Sightings may include cormorants, peregrine falcons, and potentially dolphins depending on the weather. We will also see the Totem Pole rock formations, Cape Pillar cliffs, and the sea lion colony on Tasman Island. After a 3-hour cruise, we will return to Port Arthur.
After the boat trip, we'll have a delicious lunch at a restaurant including a traditional dish. Participants will then enjoy 3 hours of free time in Port Arthur to explore. We will return to Hobart Harbour by bus, with the total trip lasting 10 hours and 15 minutes from pickup.
Boat trip + Devil Park
This option includes the same boat trip, followed by lunch. After lunch, you will visit Devil Park to see the famous Tasmanian devils up close before returning to Hobart Harbour.
Boat trip + Port Arthur Historic Site
This includes the same activities as the first part, followed by lunch and then 3 hours of free time at the Port Arthur Historic Site. A ticket is included for the visit to the former British Empire prison complex before returning to Hobart.
