Tasman Island Boat Trip

Meet at Hobart Harbour for a 1-hour drive to Port Arthur. After enjoying tea, proceed to the boat embarkation point for the trip around Tasman Island.

The cruise will begin by skirting the isthmus of Eaglehawk Neck. During the trip in the Tasman National Park, you may observe cormorants, peregrine falcons, and possibly dolphins if weather permits. Key sights will include the Totem Pole rock formations, the cliffs of Cape Pillar, and the sea lion colony on Tasman Island. After a 3-hour cruise, return to Port Arthur.

After disembarking, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a traditional dish. Following lunch, you will have 3 hours of free time in Port Arthur to explore. The return to Hobart Harbour is by bus, arriving approximately 10 hours 15 minutes after pickup.

Boat trip + Devil Park

This option includes the same initial trip. After lunch, proceed to Devil Park for a visit to see the famous Tasmanian devils.

Following the zoo visit, return to Hobart Harbour.

Boat trip + Port Arthur Historic Site

After the initial activities, enjoy lunch and 3 hours of free time at the Port Arthur Historic Site. A ticket is included for the visit to the former British Empire prison complex.

Return to the meeting point in Hobart afterwards.
