Are you in Hobart and looking for an amazing day out? If so, this trip to Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park is the one for you!
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hobart. We will then travel towards Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park located on Tasmania's east coast. Early on, we will have a stop at a Bakery for coffee or breakfast. Next, we'll visit the Georgian town of Richmond, including the historic Richmond Bridge, Australia’s oldest convict-constructed bridge. After this, we will continue to the eastern part of Tasmania, stopping at Buckland to see the Church of John the Baptist, built by convicts in 1846.
Our journey continues to the village of Orford to visit Raspins Beach for views across Prosser Bay. Following this, we will arrive at Freycinet National Park, where we will spend approximately 4 hours. You'll embark on a 45-minute walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout to witness native wildlife. You can also choose to walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach.
During the park visit, we recommend dining at one of the wineries or at the Marine Farm. Before heading back to Hobart, we will stop at Kate's Berry Farm for ice cream and treats. After 11 hours, we will conclude our tour of Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park.
