Explore Hue city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ancient world of the 13 kings of the Nguyen dynasty. Visit a village where women make traditional hats and incense sticks, and enjoy a scenic cruise on the Perfume River.

After being picked up from your hotel, you will head to Hue city, with brief stops along the way to admire the area's natural beauty at Hai Van Pass to see the view of Ocean Cloud Pass, and a quick peek at Lang Co beach, widely considered the most beautiful beach in Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Hue, enjoy lunch at a garden house restaurant, before beginning the tour with a visit to the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction. Here you will find the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence.

Next, embark on a relaxing boat trip on the Perfume river with a visit to the Thien Mu pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. It is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers.

Continue as you move to the serene Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of feng-shui.

At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your Hoi An hotel
