Learn to make the magical lanterns that illuminate Hoi An when the sun sets with this workshop led by Vietnamese artisans and visit the beautiful village of Tra Que.
Itinerary
In the morning, attendees will be picked up from their hotel in Hoi An and travel by bike to the village of Tra Que. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as digging, sowing, planting, and harvesting vegetables, providing insights into the daily tasks of a farmer.
Afterward, the group will cycle through the rice fields to the artisan workshop, where they will learn about the creation of Hoi An's iconic lanterns. The workshop will cover the origin of this tradition and the secrets behind the lanterns' shapes and colors.
Attendees will then create their own lanterns, guided by expert artisans. Each participant will be able to design their lantern, which can be taken home as a souvenir.
After four hours of exploration, participants will return to their hotel by bike.

Lantern Workshop
For those interested solely in the lantern-making workshop, this option is available. Participants will meet directly at the workshop located at 310 Nguyen Duy Hieu, which lasts 1 hour.
This option does not include hotel pickup, the bike ride, or lunch.
Schedule: This option is available at 8 am and 3 pm.

A maximum of one child can participate for every two adults during this tour.
