My Son Sanctuary Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel before heading by bus to the My Son complex in southern Vietnam. During the one-hour journey, we'll cross two mountain ranges to reach the picturesque valley housing this archaeological site built between the 4th and 14th centuries.

During the reign of the Champa kingdom, My Son Sanctuary was home to more than 70 temples and a large cemetery. Today, you’ll find several religious buildings among the dense vegetation. As we explore this area, you'll learn more about the Champa dynasty.

The known facts about this kingdom are derived from the remains of constructions and monuments at this site. We will delve into the ruins of this Hindu complex and discover why the My Son complex is designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Additionally, enjoy a Champa dance and folklore show.

At noon, we will proceed to My Son's restaurant for a lunch of noodles with chicken, shrimp, or beef. After lunch, we will take a boat ride on the Thu Bon River. Finally, we will return to the bus and head back to Hoi An.
