Tour Details

We'll meet at 9:30 am at Rúa Dória Vasconcelos to start our full tour of Holambra, a Brazilian city with similarities to The Netherlands.

Firstly, we'll head to a rural estate to enjoy its extensive plantations of flowers, including gerbera daisies, lisianthus, and cactus. We will also visit the garden, which features species like sunflowers, roses, begoñas, and petunias.

Our tour continues at the restaurant Casa Bela for a traditional lunch including Kassseler, boiled sausage, stamppot, sauerkraut, nasi goreng, and other typical Dutch and German dishes.

After lunch, we'll visit Sítio Santo Antônio for a creative activity where we'll paint a zueco (traditional clogs) to take home.

Next, we'll head to the Holambra Historical Museum to learn about the European immigrants in this part of Brazil, followed by a visit to the largest windmill in Latin America for panoramic views.

After enjoying the views, we will stop at a traditional Holambra bakery for a Stroopwafel and a cup of tea.

The tour will conclude as we return to the meeting point at around 5 pm.
