Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Holguín in a classic car. We will drive north to the coastal town of Gibara, known as the Villa Blanca of Cuba.
Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome cocktail in a central location, followed by a walking tour through the old town of Gibara. The first stop will be the Fernando VII Battery Fort, built in the 19th century for defense against pirates, offering views of Gibara Bay.
Next, we will explore the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by colonial buildings, and visit the Natural History Museum to see exhibitions, including skeletons of a sperm whale and a pilot whale.
We'll proceed to the Gibara viewpoint to admire the contrast of cobbled streets with the Atlantic, followed by a local lunch in the old town with options such as seafood, fish, chicken, pork, or beef.
After lunch, we will visit the Panaderos Cave, part of the cave system of the Polja del Cementerio, known for stalactites and stalagmites and the names of bakers associated with it.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Holguín, concluding our tour after 5 hours.
