North Cape Trip for Cruise Passengers

North Cape Excursion

On the designated day of this trip, our bus will be ready at the port upon the arrival of your cruise. Once everyone has gathered, we will head toward North Cape, which sits at a remarkable latitude of 71° and an elevation of 307 meters (1,007 feet) above sea level.

After a scenic 40-minute bus journey to North Cape, historically known as Knyskanes, you'll disembark and have free time to explore the Visitor Center. This facility provides insights into Europe’s northernmost extremity. The center is equipped to cater to the numerous visitors each summer, featuring a spacious restaurant and a local souvenir shop. There's also a cinema with a large screen showcasing a film titled NORDKAPP, which captures the essence and lifestyle at North Cape throughout the different seasons.

Just outside the Visitor Center, you will find the renowned iron sculpture of the Globe, an emblematic representation of North Cape. This monument signifies the northern extreme of the continental mainland of Norway and is often thought to represent the edge of the earth.

North Cape serves as an ideal spot for leisurely walks and appreciating the impressive cliffs where waves crash dramatically below. For those enchanted by nature and raw landscapes, this location is truly captivating. Its barren horizon and sparse plant life reflect the stark realities of the Norwegian climate.

After spending approximately 4 hours at this breathtaking site, we'll reconvene at the bus for our journey back to Honningsvag Port, allowing you ample time to board your cruise before its departure.

Essential Information

During the booking process, you may select the cruise ship that will be docking at Honningsvag. The tour can only be booked if your ship appears on the approved list shown while making the reservation.This excursion is unsuitable for those whose cruise begins or concludes at this port, or for individuals not traveling on the specified cruise at the time of booking. Reservations are made at your own discretion.

The insurance for this trip becomes invalid if the cruise changes ports; in such cases, we may provide an alternative day trip at a different location.
