Waterfalls, craters, black sand... On this excursion to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we'll travel by plane from Honolulu to discover how this Pacific archipelago was formed!

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Honolulu airport to take a flight to the island of Hawaii to visit its volcanoes. We'll start at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park by contemplating Halema'uma'u, changed since the June 2018 eruption.

Next, we'll visit the Kilauea Visitor Center to learn about the most active volcano on the island and admire the geysers, as well as the Kilauea Iki overlook.

We will walk through the Kilauea Caldera, observing sections covered with lava expelled by Kilauea in 2018. We will then proceed to the Kealakomo overlook for views of the coastline and lava fields.

After these views, we'll head to Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls, located in Hawaii's rainforest. It's an ideal spot to relax and have a picnic.

We will also visit the town of Hilo, seeing its emblematic sites, including Richardson's Black Sand Beach and the Lilioukalani Gardens.

Finally, we'll take a flight back to Honolulu, arriving around 9 pm.

Helicopter Ride

You can complete the tour with a 45-minute helicopter ride! You'll fly over Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and see the Halema'uma'u Crater, Mauna Kea volcano, and the Kahauale'a Nature Reserve.
