Waterfalls, craters, black sand... On this excursion to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, we'll travel by plane from Honolulu to discover how this Pacific archipelago was formed!

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Honolulu airport for a flight to the island of Hawaii to visit its most famous volcanoes. The day may start with an optional 45-minute helicopter ride for aerial views of Hawaii's volcanic wonders. While some enjoy the flight, others will explore Hilo Town, visiting Rainbow Falls, Banyan Drive, Liliuokalani Park & Gardens, King Kamehameha's statue, and the black sand beach.

After regrouping, we'll have a picnic-style lunch at Millie’s Deli before heading to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. There, we will visit the Visitors Center, see the fumaroles, the Halema?uma?u crater, and the N?huku lava tube. Our final stop will be ?Akaka Falls, notable for their waterfalls set in lush tropical vegetation.

The day concludes with a return flight to Honolulu, arriving at approximately 9 pm.
