Join us to explore Honolulu's popular neighborhood on this guided tour of Waikiki. We'll discover its iconic beaches, revisit its history, and learn about the celebrities who visited its shores.

Waikiki Walking Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll meet outside the Honolulu Zoo entrance to begin our walking tour of the Waikiki neighborhood. We will learn about this district famous among surfers and once a retreat for royalty.

We will first head to Queen's Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Hawaii's capital city. Here, we'll visit the Waikiki Wall, a boardwalk offering a panoramic view of the coastline and skyscrapers.

Strolling along the coast, we will encounter the sculpture of Duke Kahanamoku, an Olympian athlete considered the founder of modern surfing. We will also see the monument commemorating Prince Jonah K?hi?, which connects us with Waikiki's royal past.

During the guided tour, we will discuss the tourist boom that began in 1901 with the construction of the Moana Surfrider, the first hotel in the area. Its facade is noteworthy.

After an hour of sightseeing, we will conclude our guided tour of Waikiki at the sculpture of King David Kal?kaua.
