Beginner's Scuba Dive on Faial Island

Enjoy an incredible experience with this beginner's scuba dive on the island of Faial. This is the perfect introduction to the world of diving and to the beautiful world beneath the waves.

Beginner's Scuba Dive on Faial Island

We'll meet up in front of the Azoris Faial Garden - Resort Hotel. A brief explanation of the activity will be provided, wet suits will be given, and then transportation to the port will follow.

At the port, participants will board a boat to sail towards the best diving area on the island of Faial. After anchoring, equipment will be donned for the first dive in the Atlantic.

In the water, vests will be deflated to enable a dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet. Participants will experience the underwater life of the Azores.

The dive lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on air consumption, allowing for exploration of marine life.

After the dive, the group will return to the starting point, concluding the activity 6 hours later.

Important information

Participants should wait at least 24 hours before getting on a plane or ascending to high altitudes after the activity.
