At the predetermined time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Horta to commence our exploration of Faial Island. Are you prepared to uncover the wonders this Azorean jewel has to offer?

The journey begins at the Nossa Senhora da Conceição viewpoint, where you will enjoy breathtaking panoramas of key island highlights, including Praia do Almoxarife, Horta, Marina, Monte Queimado, and Monte da Guia.

Next, we will proceed to Caldeira, recognized as the most iconic natural landmark on Faial Island. This impressive crater, with a diameter of 2 kilometers and a depth of 400 meters, is enveloped in unique flora, primarily featuring a laurel forest.

Our subsequent stop will be at the Ribeira das Cabras viewpoint, where we will take in spectacular views of the Fajã da Praia do Norte and the Capelo Peninsula.

Next, we’ll shift our focus to the intriguing Capelinhos Volcano. Here, you can witness the landscape and remnants of towns and fields that were engulfed by volcanic ash during the 1957 and 1958 eruptions.

We will conclude this excursion by taking in the finest coastal views from the Monte da Guia viewpoint before returning to your accommodation in Horta by 2:30 PM.
