Snorkelling with Sharks on Faial Island

Face your fears and challenge nature by snorkelling with sharks on Faial Island. We'll sail from Horta to go in search of these marine creatures and swim in their natural habitat.

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Horta and board a boat in search of the sharks off the coastline of Faial Island. We will approach one of the spots frequented by blue sharks and attempt to attract them with fish. During this time, you can equip yourself with a mask and snorkel as we share interesting facts about blue sharks, including their migratory patterns, weight, and size.

When the blue sharks appear, you'll be able to swim and snorkel alongside them under the guide's instructions. This activity lasts between 3 and 5 hours, concluding with our return to the starting point.
