Hornopirén National Park Hiking Tour

We'll pick you up at 7:30 am at your hotel in Hornopirén and head towards the Chaqueihua sector, where the trailhead is located.

Once there, we'll embark on a 12-kilometer (7.5-mile) medium-difficulty hike through the Hornopirén National Park. This protected area, situated in the Chilean region of Los Lagos, showcases some of the best landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

The trails will lead us through southern Andean temperate forests, characterized by a rainy climate that supports lush vegetation. Throughout the tour, we will have several breaks to observe local plant and wildlife and regain strength with an energy bar, a piece of fruit, and a hydrating sports drink.

The route will ultimately take us to the picturesque Pinto Concha Lake. This area also features dense forests with native botanical species such as Alerce trees, Mañios, Coihues, and Lumas.

Finally, we will return to the trailhead and return to your hotel in Hornopirén, with an expected arrival time of 3:30 pm.
