Huamantla Walking Tour

At the appointed time we'll meet at Hotel Las Candelas to start this guided tour of Huamantla, the first 'Magical Town' in the state of Tlaxcala, recognized for its cultural richness.

The tour will cover main points of interest in town, including the Convent of San Luis and its colonial-era parish church. Next, we will visit the Basilica de la Caridad and the Casa de la Cultura, which features eight rooms typically used for workshops and exhibitions. This cultural center originated as a school between the 18th and 19th centuries.

We will continue to the façade of the National Puppet Museum, which showcases a diverse collection of puppets from regions such as India, Indonesia, France, and Spain. The exhibition prominently features puppets created by the Rosete Aranda brothers, known for their successful puppet company in Latin America and Europe.

After an hour and a half, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the meeting point for farewells.
