Pulque Tasting

We'll meet at the selected time at Hotel Las Candelas in Huamantla to start this experience tasting the nectar consumed by the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico.

Pulque is a traditional Mexican beverage obtained from the fermentation of the maguey or agave plant, considered sacred in pre-colonial times. Participants will learn about the history and legends surrounding pulque and its significance in Mexican culture.

We will sample natural pulque and cured pulque, which is sweetened with honey or sugar. Varieties include oatmeal, tropical, and pine nut flavors.

The experience will conclude an hour and a half after departure.
