Pulque Tasting

We will meet at the selected time at Hotel Las Candelas in Huamantla to start this experience tasting the traditional beverage of the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico.

Pulque is obtained from the fermentation of the maguey or agave plant, which was sacred in pre-colonial times. Participants will learn about the drink's history and the legends surrounding it, as well as its cultural significance.

Attendees will sample natural pulque and cured pulque, sweetened with honey or sugar, with varieties including oatmeal, tropical, and pine nut among others.

The experience lasts an hour and a half after departure.
