Huiscapuquio, Corivinchos + Shutjo Canyon Day Trip

We'll pick you up at the Huamanmarca Plaza in Huancayo to begin our day trip through significant locations in the Jauja province.

Our first stop will be at the Huiscapuquio Thermal Baths, where you'll have about an hour to enjoy its refreshing and medicinal waters, known for their skin benefits.

Next, we'll visit the Pachacayo cattle ranch, near Shutjo Canyon, which offers stunning natural landscapes.

We'll continue to Canchayllo, where we will visit the main square and church, along with the remnants of the Corivinchos archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also pass through the Raimondi puya forest. A one-hour stop will follow for you to have lunch on your own at local restaurants.

After exploring Canchayllo, we'll take a break for lunch at nearby establishments.

Lastly, we'll arrive at Shutjo Canyon, with rock formations that reach 70 meters high. You'll have time for pictures and to enjoy the view from the top before we descend to see it from below and begin our return to Huancayo. A brief stop at a distillery for tequila tasting will conclude our day.

After 11 hours of activities, we will return to Huancayo, bringing our day to an end.
