Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Jirón 28 de Julio Street. Once we're ready, we'll head north through the Callejón de Huaylas, located between the Blanca and Negra mountain ranges, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
On the way, we'll pass through some Andean villages and enjoy the stunning landscapes of Huascarán National Park, a Natural World Heritage Site and World Biosphere Reserve.
We'll continue traveling until we reach the Llanganuco Lake and the Chinancocha Lagoon. Here, we'll leave the minibus and begin a 1.5-hour hiking route along the María Josefa trail, through the quenual forests.
Throughout the hiking route, the guide will share information about the high Andean flora and fauna. Then, we'll take a 1-hour break for lunch.
