Llanganuco Lakes Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710, and we will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz before heading to the Llanganuco lagoons, located in Huascaran National Park.

First, we will stop to enjoy views of the peaks of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran, which rises to over 22,000 ft above sea level.

Upon arrival at Huascaran National Park, we will go to the famous lakes of Llanganuco: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. You will have one hour of free time to explore these glacial lakes in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru, with options for a horse ride or boating.

Next, we will take you to Caraz, where you will have free time to eat and enjoy local cuisine. After lunch, we will visit different local bakeries for half an hour to learn about traditional sweets.

On the way back to Huaraz, we will stop in the district of Tarica to see its traditional crafts. Our trip concludes as we arrive back at the meeting point around 8 pm.
