Llanganuco Lakes Trip
We will meet at Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710 and pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz before heading to the Llanganuco lagoons in Huascaran National Park.
Our first stop will offer views of the peaks of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran, the latter exceeding 22,000 ft in height.
Upon arrival at Huascaran National Park, we will head to the lakes of Llanganuco: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. You will have one hour of free time to explore these glacial lakes in the Cordillera Blanca of Peru at your own pace. Options include a horse ride or a boat trip.
Next, we will take you to Caraz for free time to enjoy local cuisine. After lunch, we will visit local bakeries for half an hour to learn about traditional sweets.
On the way back to Huaraz, we will stop in the district of Tarica to view its traditional crafts. The trip concludes upon arrival back at the meeting point at around 8 pm.
