Llanganuco Lakes Trip
We will meet at Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710, and pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz before heading to the Llanganuco lagoons in Huascaran National Park.
The trip includes a stop to admire the peaks of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran, which rises above 22,000 ft above sea level. Upon arrival at Huascaran National Park, we will proceed to Chinancocha and Orconcocha, where you will have one hour of free time to explore the glacial lakes. Options include horse riding or boating.
Next, we will travel to Caraz for free time to eat local cuisine. After lunch, we will visit local bakeries for half an hour to learn about traditional sweets.
On the return to Huaraz, we will stop in the district of Tarica to explore traditional crafts. The trip concludes at the meeting point around 8 pm.
