Llanganuco Lakes Trip

At the scheduled time, meet on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710. We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz before heading to the Llanganuco lagoons in Huascaran National Park.

We will first stop to enjoy views of the peaks of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran, which rises over 22,000 ft above sea level.

Upon arrival at Huascaran National Park, we will visit the famous lakes of Llanganuco: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. You will have one hour of free time to explore these glacial lakes, with the option to take a horse ride or sail on a boat.

Next, we will proceed to Caraz, allowing free time for lunch to experience local cuisine. Afterward, we will spend half an hour visiting local bakeries to learn about traditional sweets.

On our return to Huaraz, we will stop in Tarica to see traditional crafts. The trip concludes back at the meeting point around 8 pm.
