Embark on an extraordinary journey to witness a breathtaking panorama located at over 12,000 feet above sea level by venturing to the Lakes of Llanganuco. This experience unveils some of the most stunning natural wonders in Peru.

Adventure to Llanganuco Lakes

We will begin our adventure at the designated meeting point on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710. Once we gather the group, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Huaraz and we will set off towards the enchanting Llanganuco lagoons, nestled within the breathtaking Huascaran National Park.

Our first stop will offer stunning views of the imposing mountains of Huanday, Hualcan, and Huascaran. The latter famously towers at over 22,000 ft above sea level, providing a memorable backdrop for this segment of the journey.

Upon reaching Huascaran National Park, we will proceed directly to the renowned Llanganuco Lakes: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. You will enjoy an hour of leisure time to explore these glacial lakes, set within the beautiful Cordillera Blanca of Peru, at your own pace. You may choose to take a delightful horseback ride or glide along the calm waters in a boat.

Following our lakeside exploration, we will head to Caraz, where you will have the opportunity to savor a meal featuring local culinary delights. After enjoying lunch, we will dedicate some time to visit several local bakeries to discover the traditional sweets that the region is famous for.

On our return to Huaraz, we will pause in the district of Tarica to admire its handcrafted artworks. Our enriching journey will conclude as we return to the meeting location by approximately 8 PM.
