Private Lake Wilcacocha Hike
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710 to go to the Santa Cruz bridge. The adventure begins!
We will go on a two-hour trekking route through the Cordillera Negra. Along the way, we'll see eagles and falcons, as well as the totora plant, known for its use in raft-making.
Upon reaching the Lake Wilcacocha, you'll have a panoramic view of the Cordillera Blanca and its peaks, including Huascarán, Copa, Vallunaraju, and Churup. You can walk around the shore at an altitude of 3745 meters (12200 feet) and enjoy the fresh air. Bring your cameras!
After an hour of free time for lunch, we will begin the descent and return to Huaraz.
The expected arrival time at the starting point is between 3 and 4 pm.
