Private Lake Wilcacocha Hike
At the scheduled time, we will meet on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710 to go to the Santa Cruz bridge. The adventure begins.
Once there, we will embark on a two-hour trekking route through the Cordillera Negra. Along the way, observe eagles and falcons, as well as the totora plant, which was traditionally used to make rafts.
Upon arrival at Lake Wilcacocha, enjoy a panoramic view of the Cordillera Blanca and its snowy peaks including Huascarán, Copa, Vallunaraju, and Churup. You can walk around the shore and breathe in the pure air at an altitude of 3745 metres (12200 feet). Don't forget your camera.
After an hour of free time for lunch, we will begin the descent and return to Huaraz.
The arrival time at the starting point is scheduled between 3 and 4 PM.
