Dark Caves Adventure Tour

Zip lines, a kayak ride along the Chay river, caving...do you dare? Enjoy a day full of adrenaline on this adventure tour around Phong Nha-Ke Bang.

Itinerary

The tour of Phong Nha-Ke Bang begins early with pick-up from your accommodation in Hue.

We will take a bus to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park. During the four-hour journey, we will pass by significant sites such as the Quang Tri demilitarised zone.

Next, we will visit the La Vang Basilica, the most important Catholic site in the country. Lunch will be enjoyed in Xuan Son at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the adventure begins. After receiving equipment and instructions, we will launch on a zip line, experiencing speed and adrenaline above the landscape of mountains and the River Chay.

After the zip line, we will explore the Dark Cave (Hang Toi). Equipped properly, we will enter this unlit grotto, known for its lack of artificial light over six kilometres. Visitors can indulge in cave mud for skincare benefits and take a dip in the lake inside the cave, named Thuy Tien.

The adventure continues in the River Chay as we kayak down the river, participating in games and activities. The day concludes with a bus ride back to Hue after 13 hours of adventure.
