Visit the charming towns of Thuy Bieu and Hue on a bike tour of the Imperial City. Cycle through the bustling streets of Vietnam and uncover fascinating cultural insights!

Cycling in Thuy Bieu and Hue

We'll kick things off by picking you up at your hotel in Hue. Then, on our bikes, we'll head to the Imperial City to discover a citadel built in 1805 that houses the oldest monuments of Hue.

First up, we'll visit the Hien Lam Pavilion and the 9 dynastic urns, adorned with elaborate details of flowers and Vietnamese symbology. We'll uncover the meanings of the figures and proceed to The Mieu Temple.

Next, we'll admire the Theater, Garden, and Royal Library. We'll continue our bike route in search of the Thien Miu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue.

From here, we'll take our bikes aboard a boat to sail along the Perfume River to Thuy Bieu. Once there, we'll resume biking through the village's narrow streets, visit small incense and joss paper factories, and meet a family of paper painters.

Next, we'll take a Vietnamese cooking class at a local family's home followed by a home-cooked lunch.

To conclude the bike tour, we'll enjoy a foot massage with a soak in medicinal herbal waters, a traditional practice in Thuy Bieu. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Hue 6 to 7 hours after pickup.
