Algarve Day Trip Itinerary

Leave Spain behind for a day and head to neighboring Portugal. After being picked up at the designated time, you'll set off on your excursion, crossing the Guadiana River via the International Bridge, one of the longest in the Iberian Peninsula.

Your route will take you to Loulé, one of the most popular places in the Algarve. You'll visit its castle, also from the Islamic period, and walk through the streets of the old town to get to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Conception. Inside, you can see the 18th-century altarpiece. Loulé's markets are also very popular, full of fresh produce and Portuguese specialties.

Next, you'll hop back on the bus to Albufeira, one of the Algarve's most emblematic cities. The historic fishing port features picturesque whitewashed houses and spectacular beaches. Enjoy your free time here to sample typical local delicacies and relax with a drink on one of the terraces, taking in unforgettable seafront views.

Following your time in Albufeira, you’ll head to Tavira, a city in the Faro district known for its historic buildings. Stroll through its old quarter until you arrive at its imposing castle, steeped in legends and fascinating history.

To conclude the adventure, you will attend a traditional Portuguese fado show. After this culturally enriching experience, you'll return to Huelva by bus, arriving back at the starting point around 9 hours after pickup.
