Spend a day in the Algarve, exploring this region on the Atlantic coast. This day trip from Huelva reveals why it is Portugal's most visited area.

Algarve Day Trip Itinerary

Depart from Spain for Portugal. After pickup at the designated time, cross the Guadiana River via the International Bridge, one of the longest in the Iberian Peninsula.

Your journey includes a visit to Loulé, where we will explore its castle from the Islamic period and navigate the old town to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Conception, featuring an 18th-century altarpiece. Loulé's popular markets offer fresh produce and Portuguese specialties.

Next, proceed to Albufeira, known for its historic fishing port, whitewashed houses, and beautiful beaches. Enjoy free time to sample local delicacies and drinks while taking in the seafront views.

Then, visit Tavira in the Faro district, famous for its historic sites. We will walk through its old quarter to see its notable castle.

The trip concludes with a traditional Portuguese fado show, followed by a return to Huelva by bus, approximately 9 hours after pickup.
