Day Trip to Gibraltar
Your tour guide will pick you up from your selected meeting point and you'll depart for Gibraltar, a British territory since the late 18th century. Known for its strategic location, it has been a subject of dispute between the UK and Spain.
Enjoy a minibus tour of the Rock of Gibraltar and a guided visit to St Michael's Cave, a network of limestone caves used by military forces since the Middle Ages. Explore various rock chambers and learn about the history of sieges and battles fought over the Rock.
Next, visit Europa Point, the southernmost point of Gibraltar, offering views of the surrounding area, including the Port of Algeciras and, on clear days, the Rif Mountains in Morocco. Europa Point is also home to the Shrine of Our Lady of Europe and the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, a gift from Saudi Arabia.
Experience Gibraltar's nature by meeting the famous Barbary macaques, the only wild primates in Europe. These monkeys are considered a symbol of British presence in Gibraltar. After visiting Europa Point, you'll have free time to dine in local restaurants (not included) or shop due to its duty-free status.
At the end of your trip, you'll return to Huelva, with a drop-off at your hotel.
