Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time beside the Caseta del Guarda to begin our guided tour of Huelva. Our adventure starts with a stroll through the Reina Victoria neighborhood, recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site, where we will discuss the British immigrants who settled here in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Next, we will visit the historic Hotel Colón, established to commemorate the 4th centenary of the Discovery of America. It was a favored lodging for British company executives and one of the first accommodations with electricity and hot water.

Afterward, we will explore Huelva's old town, passing through the San Francisco seaside district, the monument to the Virgen del Rocío, the City Hall, and the Gran Teatro. We will also enter the Mora Claros Palace, notable for its ornate features.

The tour will include a visit to the historic Riotinto mineral wharf, showcasing 19th-century industrial architecture and providing panoramic views of the Odiel River.

After our 2-hour and 15-minute exploration, the tour concludes beside the Riotinto pier.
