Luxor Tour & Valley of the Kings and Queens

The wonders of Ancient Egypt await you on this tour to Luxor from Hurghada. Plus, we'll also visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens.

Tour Details

When making your reservation, you'll have the choice of three different tours. All of them include pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada at 4:30 am and return at 10:30 pm:

After a four-hour drive, we'll arrive in Luxor, where the Temple of Karnak is located. This temple, dedicated to the Sun God, Amun-Ra, is the largest in Ancient Egypt. Participants will be able to admire the hieroglyphs on its columns and learn about ancient Egyptian beliefs.

After the temple visit, we'll enjoy a buffet lunch. Following lunch, we'll visit the funerary Temple of Hatshepsut, discussing this queen, the second confirmed female Pharaoh.

Before returning to Hurghada, we'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, which represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

We'll continue the tour by visiting the Valley of the Kings. For this option, we'll visit the Colossi of Memnon first, before heading to the Valley of the Queens. We will visit three tombs to admire their interior decoration and understand the significance of funerary rituals.

We'll also visit the burial site of several pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. The total number of tombs visited in the Valley of the Kings will depend on availability and the time of year.

Finally, this trip will conclude with a return to hotels in Hurghada after approximately 13 hours.

The trip includes pickup from all hotels in Hurghada. If you are staying in the following areas, you'll need to pay an additional fee on the day of the tour:
