Luxor Tour & Valley of the Kings and Queens

The wonders of Ancient Egypt await you on this tour to Luxor from Hurghada. Plus, we'll also visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens.

Tour Details

When making your reservation, you'll have the choice of three different tours. All tours include pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada at 4:30 am and finish at the same location at 10:30 pm:

After a four-hour drive, we'll arrive in Luxor to visit the Temple of Karnak, the largest temple in Ancient Egypt, dedicated to the Sun God, Amun-Ra. You will admire hieroglyphs, walk through the hypostyle hall, and learn about ancient Egyptian beliefs.

After this visit, we will enjoy a buffet lunch. Following lunch, we will visit the funerary Temple of Hatshepsut, the second confirmed female Pharaoh.

Before returning to Hurghada, we will see the Colossi of Memnon, sculptures of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

We'll continue with the Valley of the Kings. If booked, we will first visit the Colossi of Memnon, followed by the Valley of the Queens, an ancient necropolis for princesses and wives of pharaohs. We will visit three tombs, learning about funerary rituals.

We will also see the resting places of Thutmose III, Ramesses VI, Ramesses IX, Siptah, and Ramesses IV. Depending on availability, we may visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

This trip ends by returning to Hurghada after approximately 13 hours.

The trip includes pickup from all hotels in Hurghada. For the following areas, a supplement is required:
