Explore off the beaten tourist path on this excursion to the bays of Ha Long & Lan Ha, which will take you on a cruise across these Vietnamese waters.
Ha Long & Lan Ha Bay Excursion
After picking you up at 7:45 am at your hotel in the center of Cat Ba or at 190-1/4 Street, we will board a minibus headed south of the island.
At the port, a boat will be ready for us to embark at 8 am for an excursion in Lan Ha Bay. The cruise will proceed next to the floating fishing village of Beo and will pass Monkey Island and Buddha Island.
We will continue to Ha Long Bay to observe the Ha Long city skyline. Following this, we will head to Cam Lagoon for a Vietnamese lunch on board. After lunch, a short rest will precede a kayak tour to explore Monkey Cave, Dark Cave, Bright Cave, and Bat Cave.
Next, there will be an opportunity for snorkeling in Ba Trai Dao before returning to the boat to watch the sunset from the upper deck. We will return to the starting point between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.
Excursion + Night Plankton
Upgrade your experience in Ha Long and Lan Ha bays with a tour that includes a night tour by kayak to see luminescent plankton. After sunset, we will have a traditional dinner of fish and seafood at a restaurant.
Post-dinner, we will paddle in the lagoon for an hour-long tour to learn about the phenomenon of bioluminescence in plankton, offering a chance to admire the nocturnal landscape.
Finally, we will return to the mainland and take you back to the hotel 14 hours later.
