Zambezi River Rafting

We will collect you from your hotel at Victoria Falls before heading to the office for an overview of the day and instructions on raft control. Then, we proceed to the camp to provide necessary equipment. A walk to the river bank follows, where expert guides will assist you in practicing paddle techniques and raft control.

Once prepared, you will embark on the adventure, navigating white-water rapids across a route of between 6 and 10 miles. The specific section of the river varies seasonally due to changes in water level and flow.

After finishing the activity, we will return to your hotel.

Rafts

There are three types of rafts available for this activity, each providing a different rafting experience on the Zambezi river.

Oar raft: suitable for inexperienced participants, children, and seniors. Guides retain total control, allowing passengers to enjoy the scenery.Stern Mount Raft: designed for families and those with some rafting experience. Guides control the vessel with oars while passengers assist with paddles.Advanced paddle rafts: all participants control the vessel with paddles, directed by the guide. This option is only for those with prior rafting experience due to a higher risk of overturning, with planned stops for navigating rapids and an assisting kayak available.
