Rafting on the Zambezi river from Victoria Falls

Zambezi River Rafting

We will collect you from your hotel at Victoria Falls before heading to the office for an explanation of the day's activities and instructions on controlling the raft. Then, we move on to the camp for necessary equipment. We will walk to the river bank, where expert guides will assist you in practicing paddling and controlling the rafts.

Once you are familiar with rafting, it is time to hit the water. The white-water rapids will take you along a route of between 6 and 10 miles. The section of the river varies by season based on water levels and force. At the end of the route, you will have accomplished a unique experience.

After the activity, we will return to your hotel.

Rafts

There are three types of rafts available for this activity, each providing a different rafting experience on the Zambezi river.

Oar raft: ideal for inexperienced participants, children, and seniors. Guides maintain control of the raft.Stern Mount Raft: suitable for families and those with previous rafting experience. Guides control the vessel with oars while passengers help with paddles.Advanced paddle rafts: all participants use paddles to control the raft. This option is recommended for those with rafting experience due to a higher risk of overturning. Stops will be made to prepare for rapids, with an additional kayak on standby for assistance.
