It is a pleasant town with a splendid old 15th century fort containing the Ranjeen Mahal, Chini Mahal and Turkish Mahal Palaces. The impressive Khwaja Mahmud Gawan Madrasa and the Tombs of the Bahmani and -Barid Kings are also worth seeing.
