2-Day Folk Festival in Ibagué

Day 1

At 8 am, pickup will occur at the Combeima shopping center to begin this 2-day experience. The itinerary includes a guided tour of Ibagué, known as the Musical Capital of Colombia. Participants will view monuments dedicated to music and significant buildings like the Conservatory of Tolima. A local restaurant will host lunch before a 4x4 vehicle tour through Ibagué to Combeima Canyon, a scenic natural site. A stop at the Los Sauces viewpoint will provide a panoramic view of the surroundings, accompanied by a snack of aguapanela with cheese, typical of the region. The afternoon includes exploring the center of Ibagué, followed by dinner and a chance to experience Ibagué nightlife.

Day 2

The day starts with breakfast at the hotel, followed by attendance at the National Folklore Parade of Ibagué, featuring regional dances, typical costumes, and music. Participants will enjoy the parade from a prime viewing area. Afterward, lunch at a local restaurant precedes activities at Playa Hawaii, where options include kayaking, water bike rides, or swimming in natural pools. The tour concludes with a return to the original pickup location by approximately 5 pm.
