2-Day Folk Festival in Ibagué

Day 1

At 8 am, we'll pick you up at the Combeima shopping center to begin this 2-day experience focused on the folk tradition in Ibagué. We'll start with a guided tour of this town, recognized as the Musical Capital of Colombia.

As the tour begins, you'll see various monuments dedicated to music throughout the city, including key buildings like the Conservatory of Tolima. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll take a 4x4 vehicle around Ibagué to Combeima Canyon, known for its natural beauty.

We'll visit the Los Sauces viewpoint for a panoramic view and enjoy a snack of aguapanela with cheese, typical products from the region. In the afternoon, you'll tour the center of Ibagué, followed by dinner and experiencing the Ibagué nightlife.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll quickly leave to not miss the National Folklore Parade of Ibagué. You’ll see regional dances, typical costumes, and music, enjoying the show from a box with great views.

Post-parade, we'll have lunch at a local restaurant and then head to Playa Hawaii, a recreational park offering activities like kayaking, water bike rides, or swimming in natural pools.

Finally, we'll return you to the pickup point from the first day, concluding the activity around 5 pm.
