Coello River Canyon Hiking and Rafting Tour

At booking, choose between 2 tour options based on duration and activities. Both include pickup at 8 am and drop off at your hotel in Ibagué.

5-hour Tour

We start by walking along a trail surrounded by vegetation, rivers, and waterfalls until we reach Coello River. Here, we will embark on a 3-mile (5 km) descent through class II and III rapids. Navigate the rapids while observing the lush landscape and miners searching for gold along the riverbanks.

9-hour Tour with Lunch

We begin with a walk through the canyon while observing local biodiversity, eventually reaching the riverbanks. This part includes a 10-mile (16 km) descent through class III rapids. Enjoy the scenic landscapes as we raft down the river. After the rafting, we will hike to the waterfalls of El Oso, Chorro Blanco, and Paraíso, providing time for a swim.

Next, enjoy a typical lunch consisting of a main course and a drink. Finally, we will visit the Madremonte Cave to learn about its legend.
