El Salto Waterfall 2-day Private Hiking Tour

Day 1

At 6 am we'll meet at Carrera 4d in Ibagué and take a 4x4 to Juntas to start our trekking route to El Salto waterfall. In Juntas, we'll have breakfast before beginning our hike towards the Escuela El Salto at 7:30 am. The trail will take approximately six to eight hours through the Combeima canyon, with views of the snow-capped Tolima. Halfway through, we'll break for lunch consisting of rice, meat, plantain, and lemonade. We'll arrive at the rural inn of the El Salto School, resting until the next day.

Day 2

On the second day, we'll have breakfast at the school's rural inn before embarking on a one-hour hike to El Salto waterfall. After enjoying the scenery, we'll return to the school and descend to Juntas. This five to six hour descent includes a stop for a hamburger and views of the Nevado del Tolima. Afterward, we'll take a jeep back to Ibagué, arriving at 5 pm.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's accommodation at the rural inn of the El Salto School.
