El Salto Waterfall 4-day Private Hiking Tour

Day 1: Ibague - Finca Santa Clara

At 6 am we'll meet at Carrera 4d in Ibagué and take a 40-minute 4x4 drive to the hiking start point. After a breakfast, we'll begin our trek to Santa Clara farm, which takes eight hours. The trail includes several waterfalls and a viewpoint for excellent area views. We will arrive at Finca Santa Clara for dinner and camping overnight.

Day 2: Finca Santa Clara - Finca Meridiano

After breakfast, we'll embark on a five-hour hike to Finca Meridiano. This trail provides views of Nevado del Tolima, which is over 5200 meters high, along with sights of the San Romualdo river canyon. We'll conclude the day with dinner and camping at Finca Meridiano.

Day 3: Finca Meridiano - Finca El Salto

On the third day, after an 8 am breakfast, we'll start an eight-hour hike on uneven terrain, gradually entering a more humid climate. The journey leads us through the San Romualdo river canyon to El Salto waterfall. Our destination is the rural inn of El Salto School, where we will have lunch and rest until the following day.

Day 4: Finca El Salto - Ibagué

On the final day, after breakfast, we will drive for five hours towards Juntas, enjoying views at the foot of the snow-capped volcano and passing through Combeima Canyon, the gateway to Los Nevados National Park. Upon arrival in Juntas, we will return to Ibagué, concluding our hiking route at 5 pm.
