On this 4-day trekking route, participants will explore the Andean forests at the foot of the Tolima volcano, culminating at the El Salto waterfall.

El Salto Waterfall 4-day Private Hiking Tour

Day 1: Ibague - Finca Santa Clara

At 6 am, the group will meet at Carrera 4d in Ibagué, followed by a 40-minute 4x4 drive to the hiking start point. After breakfast, the trek towards Santa Clara farm begins, lasting eight hours, with stops at various waterfalls and a viewpoint. The day concludes at Finca Santa Clara for dinner and camping.

Day 2: Finca Santa Clara - Finca Meridiano

The day starts with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a five-hour hike to Finca Meridiano. Participants will enjoy views of the Nevado del Tolima and the San Romualdo river canyon, arriving at Finca Meridiano for dinner and overnight camping.

Day 3: Finca Meridiano - Finca El Salto

The group will have breakfast and depart at 8 am for an eight-hour hike over uneven terrain. The trek will lead through the San Romualdo river canyon to El Salto waterfall, followed by lunch at the El Salto School inn, with rest time afterwards.

Day 4: Finca El Salto - Ibagué

On the final day, participants will have breakfast and travel to Juntas, enjoying a five-hour drive featuring views of the snow-capped volcano and Combeima Canyon. After arriving in Juntas, the return trip to Ibagué will end the hiking route at 5 pm.
