Experience the breathtaking journey to the Secret Waterfall, where we traverse through lush canyons and meandering streams, enveloped by the vibrant flora of the Andean jungle along the Pastales trail.

Itinerary

Your adventure begins with a pickup at your hotel in Ibagué at 7 am, setting off towards the scenic Pastales trail, nestled beside the Combeima River.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a pathway that guides us through the stunning high Andean jungle and into a spectacular canyon. As we hike, you may catch sight of the magnificent Tolima snow-capped mountain if the weather is favorable.

This trek features steep slopes with close to a 90-degree inclination, reaching a remarkable altitude of 6,332 ft (1,930 meters). The hike is categorized as moderate, covering a distance of 3.7 miles (6 km).

Continuing along the Combeima River, we will discover a hidden gem within the jungle: the enchanting Secret Waterfall! Here, you’ll have an opportunity for a delightful swim post-hike, and we will also visit three additional smaller yet equally captivating waterfalls.

After a short break with a snack, we will make our way back to the bus for the return trip to Ibagué, reaching your hotel around 12:30 pm.
