On this day trip to the Payandé Natural Reserve, we'll explore the Chicalá waterfalls, a popular destination in Tolima.
Payandé Hiking Tour
At the specified time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Ibagué and travel to the natural landscapes of Tolima.
After approximately one hour, we will arrive at this area of the Colombian jungle to discover the Chicalá waterfalls, which comprise seven waterfalls. Access is via an easy 1-kilometre (0.62-mile) trail.
We will walk along this path to view the natural pools of Chicalá, where you can swim and relax. At noon, we will visit the country hotel Chicalá for a typical Colombian lunch.
After lunch, you have the option to take a dip in the hotel's swimming pool or relax in the hammocks before concluding the tour.
We will then return to the starting point, completing the excursion in a total of 7 hours.
